James is an experienced chemist with knowledge across the drug discovery process (new targets, hit-to-lead, lead dev). He led project and chemistry efforts at Harvard University, Pfizer, and Think spanning antibody drug-conjugate development and small molecule inhibitors for high-profile kinase, phosphatase, and transcription factor targets. James also led and managed new methods development efforts at Pfizer Boulder where he pioneered new photo-catalyzed chemistry. He has published extensively across the chemical and medical sciences and won numerous awards.

JONATHAN SESSLER, Ph.D.
Jonathan L. Sessler, Ph.D. is the R.P. Doherty, Jr. –Welch Regent Chair in Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin. He is notable for his pioneering work in organic and inorganic synthesis and bioinorganic medicinal chemistry. Jonathan was elected a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences, along with numerous other awards and recognitions. He was also co-founder of Pharmacyclics, Inc., which was sold to AbbVie for $21 billion in 2015.
RON HINKLIN, Ph.D.
Ronald J. Hinklin, Ph.D. is an accomplished leader and scientist with over 22 years of experience in medicinal chemistry. Ron was a Senior Director at Pfizer and, during his time there and at Array Biopharma, has led or contributed to 8 programs that advanced to IND. Ron is co-inventor on 27 patents and author on 25 papers.
PAT CONFALONE, Ph.D.
Pat Confalone, Ph.D., is an accomplished scientist with over fifty years in drug discovery. Pat has led Medicinal Chemistry efforts and Chemical Process R&D groups at Roche, DuPont, DuPont Merck, and Bristol-Myers Squibb. Pat helped discover or develop Cozaar™, Rynaxypyr™, Sustiva™, Cyazypyr™, Zorvec™, and NexGard™; has published over 140 papers and obtained more than 50 U.S. Patents; has received numerous awards, including the Harvard Graduate Society Prize, the Alpha Chi Sigma Award, and the Robert A. Welch Lectureship; and was nominated to the Harvard Society of Fellows, is a Fellow of the AAAS, an ACS Fellow, and served as Chairman of the Board of the American Chemical Society.
